Women's Health Specialists at Eagle's Landing began life on November 17, 1997, as the dream of two female obstetrician/gynecologists, Cheryl Cockrell, M.D. and Sheryl Simpson-Jones, M.D. They were both in other practice situations and were dissatisfied with the lack of an all-female practice in Henry County. Drs. Simpson-Jones and Cockrell felt that the women of Henry County could be better served in an environment where they would be cared for by women like themselves, who could understand their needs and desires. Since then, the practice has grown and developed into a comprehensive women's center, offering full-service obstetrics and gynecology. There are now four physicians in the practice, Dr. Kimberly McIntosh having joined in 2003 and Dr. Temitope Olubuyide having joined in 2007. Eva Fronk, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife who joined the practice in 2006 and offers a full range of midwifery services, as well as gynecology. Women's Health Specialists at Eagle's Landing offers normal and high-risk obstetrical care, with delivery exclusively at Henry Medical Center in the new Marcia G. Taylor Women's Center. We also offer comprehensive gynecologic services, including office gynecology, infertility evaluation, urologic testing and therapy and in-patient hospital surgery. We also offer a wide range of in-office surgery and procedures, including in-office sterilization and endometrial ablation.

Women's Health Specialists at Eagle's Landing is the first and only all-female OB/GYN practice in Henry County, offering healthcare exclusively by and for women. We are proof that dreams do come true.
